| Details: | SUMMARY: Operator has maintained the inorganics removal equipment, will resample for nitrate DETAILS: The operator reports the following: the inorganics removal system was checked on 5/31- it was "out of salt" and new salt was added on 6/4/07. The operator turned off the schools drinking fountain on 6/1 and it has been off since. There was no school on 6/3, and the school term ended 6/7. One person is currently using the facility and he is aware of the high nitrate result. I had left a voice mail for the operator on 6/4 stressing the importance of collecting a follow-up nitrate sample immediately but the operator still has not collected the sample. He states he will collect the sample next week. ACTION NEEDED: Consult with Karen Kelley regarding increased frequency of nitrate monitoring for the system. | ||
