| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive routine 1/31/07 total coliform alert DETAILS: Met with Dennis Steinel on 2/2/07. Water system recently had positive coliform samples for their monthly raw water sample and quarterly coliform sample. Dennis will discontinue raw water sampling and undergo particulate analysis in the spring. Because there was no chlorine residual in the system we deduced that the chlorine pump was not operating properly. Upon investigation there was no power at the chlorine pump. Power was restored immediately and the system will be flushed until a chlorine residual can again be maintained. Discussed daily chlorine residual testing and records with Dennis. Dennis will take four repeat samples this month and five routine samples next month. ACTION NEEDED: n/a | ||
