| Details: | SUMMARY: Consultation with Island City re: waterline break DETAILS: May 7, 2007: Consultation with the Island City water department concerning a waterline break (10 inch line) which occurred May 3, 2007 (unreported). CHD learned of the break because of a newspaper article. I spoke with Jeff Evers concerning this break in the waterline. Required Island City to sample for coliform bacteria at connection nearest downstream of the break and a second sample farther downstream. Break was repaired by Island City staff. Coliform bacteria samples came back absent. ACTION NEEDED: Sample downstream from break. | ||
