| Details: | SUMMARY: Water system lost a pump and started providing water. DETAILS: Susan Burch of Klamath County contacted the DWP for assistance on a water system (Round Lakes Estates) that lost a water supply pump and water pressure. The system is providing non potable water for flushing toilets and bottled water for drinking, cooking, and hand washing. Gary Burnett of the Pendleton office assisted Susan with the posting of a Drinking Water Notice advising the customers to not drink the non potable water without boiling it first and once the pressure is restored, do not drink the water until notified that the water was tested and safe to drink. ACTION NEEDED: Once the water pressure is restored (scheduled for July 21, 2007) the system will need to be shocked and sampled prior to removing the Drinking Water Notice. | ||
