| Details: | SUMMARY: EP A & B are Inactive Emergency Sources DETAILS: The water system has violations for not reporting chemical results for EP A & B. However, those entry points have been inactive as drinking water sources since 2003. Well 3 L49304 was constructed in April 2002 and has been the supply well since 2003. The well construction was approved by DWP. Well 1 EP-A has elevated nitrate and is used only for irrigation of the golf course. Well 2 EP-B pumps sand and has not been used at all since 2003 when the new well went on line. ACTION NEEDED: DWP to enter Sanitary Survey completed on July 27, 2006 and change EP A & B to Inactive Emergency sources. The water system needs to collect radiological samples, and the operator will see if initial chemical samples were taken prior to 2005. | ||
