Details: SUMMARY: Discussed 7.2 mg/L nitrate level with operator DETAILS: I informed the operator that the 5/22/07 nitrate for the system was 7.2 mg/L and the progressive increase in nitrate since 1993. The land use in the park area is agricultural. I encouraged him to do what he could to reduce groundwater exposure to nitrate. ACTION NEEDED: n/a
