| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine sample E. coli positive DETAILS: A routine quarterly sample tested positive for E. coli bacteria on 4/26/07. Spoke with Colin Croas at length about not letting staff and students use the water system until the problem is corrected. Colin stated the problem happened over the weekend (reason not known). He also stated that letters went home with children and a notice was placed in the newspaper (Argus). He stated he shocked the system, waited 24 hours, and flushed it. More samples (4) have been taken, these results were negative. I asked him to send in 5 more routine samples within 2 weeks to confirm. Please see attached letter and correspondence for details.
