Details: SUMMARY: Positive coliform samples on 4/18, 4/19, 5/25, 6/05, 6/26, 7/13, and 8/31 (all 2006) DETAILS: I have been speaking to Frances Ramsey since 04/20/06 regarding positive coliform samples listed above. Frances had complied with drinking water requirements, repeat samples, public notices, shock chlorination, flushing the system, and investigating the source of the problem. We have also discussed proper sampling collection and potential sources of contamination. Based on the positive coliform sample history, I recommended installing a chlorinator for the system, the state might enforce this if the problem continues. At this point, Frances has looked into cleaning the reservoir and replacing the water softener. She will continue to sample and investigate further the source of the problem. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of repeat samples and follow up.
