| Details: | SUMMARY: Inspected well & storage facilities and manually chlorinated system. DETAILS: We inspected the well and reservoir facilities. The well vent hole is open and needs to be screened, and a sample tap needs to be installed at the well head. We placed 1 pound of HTH 62% calcium hypochlorite powder in the reservoir. The well pumps to the 30,000 gal reservoir, then to a 1,000 gal horizontal pressure tank and booster pump. Prior to chlorination we sampled from the tap on the pressure tank. A sample was also taken from the Greg Smith hose bib prior to chlorination. ACTION NEEDED: Five Routine samples to be taken in August. Boil water warning to be lifted when coliform samples are negative. Sample tap and screened vent to be installed at well head. | ||
