| Details: | SUMMARY: Asked system to begin quarterly nitrate monitoring of suspect well and develop plan to investigate nitrate source DETAILS: Source A sample reported nitrate at 9 mg/L. The nitrate level in this well over the past 21 years has risen from 0.25 to 9 mg/L. ACTION NEEDED: Further sampling of the well for nitrates, search for source(s) of nitrate, possible public education. If nitrate level continues to rise the well may need to be abandoned or a method of nitrate removal put in place. | ||
