| Details: | SUMMARY: TC Positive Alert Response, Reviewed Sampling Requirements DETAILS: Met with Barbara at her home. Discussed sample collection and regulatory status of the water system. Suggested that a board meeting be held to review the systems status with the entire board. Inspected the well building, discovered the chlorinator was not working. Collected four repeat samples to follow up on the July total coliform detection. Called Scott Morris with City of Stanfield, who later that day cleaned the chlorinator tubing and got it working again. The repeat collected at the same location as the original positive sample tested positive for total coliform, and the other three repeat samples tested absent, which meets the criteria for invalidating the positive samples. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to call board meeting, DWP to attend. DWP to invalidate the July TC positive sample and corresponding repeat sample. PWS to receive a monitoring violation for July, not an MCL violation. | ||
