| Details: | SUMMARY: Outbreak #3 DETAILS: Lobos (camp name) called to let me know that the Precision pump guy was there this morning rather than yesterday afternoon. He measured a chlorine residual of water going into the tanks after chlorination, but it was low (there is some question as to what the level was, as he was using a pool test kit). Either way, it is not carrying through the tanks or system. They are shock chlorinating the tanks and will flush. He recommended that they double the strenght of their chlorine solution (I suspect this was not based on calculations). They decided last night to close the camp one week early, so after Friday they will no longer have kids or most staff there. She wanted to make sure we had their contact information for the investigation. Cheryl Sheppard or Lobos can be reached at the office at 503-357-9743 or 503-357-1793. Cheryls cell phone outside the camp at 503-857-8433. Loboss cell is 503-816-7574. They will be there through the weekend, and Cheryl is a year-round employee. ACTION NEEDED: continue investigation if needed. No risk of new exposures from water system. | ||
