Details:	SUMMARY: Positive total coliform routine sample DETAILS: I received an alert for a positive total coliform routine sample taken on 8/16/07. I spoke with Sherry Johnson on 8/16/07 and she did not know why the sample was positive but said her husband may have done more plumbing work. This system has received quite a few positive coliform results recently but their repeats are usually negative. I advised Sherry to look into why the samples are consistently positive, to make sure the system is chlorinated after any plumbing work, and to be sure to follow proper sampling protocol. I told Sherry to take 4 repeat samples and 5 routine next month. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of the repeat samples.
