| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform routine sample DETAILS: I received an alert for a positive total coliform routine sample taken on 8/16/07. I spoke with Brenda Casarez with Delta Lab who said she thought it may have been positive because the chlorine was too low (0.05 mg/L). The system also had 1 positive routine total on 7/19 and 1 positive repeat total coliform out of 4 repeats taken on 7/24, likely due to no to low chlorine, and they issued public notice. 5 additional repeat samples were taken 7/29 - 7/30, all negative. This current routine sample is part of the 5 routines required for August. I spoke with Kevin Hunt and advised him to have the system increase the chlorine before they take the other 4 samples. He said he spoke with them this morning and did advise the increase and will take more routines tomorrow. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of the additional 4 routine samples. | ||
