| Details: | SUMMARY: Two repeat samples total coliform positive. MCL violation for August DETAILS: Two out of four repeat samples taken 8/21 were total coliform positive therefore the system has an MCL violation for the second month in a row. The water system operator is now Dave Wilson, and Greg Ray is no longer there. Staff from both Lexington and Heppner have been helping Ione. Samples taken directly from the well are coliform negative so the problem is likely due to distribution system conditions. The City would like assistance from DWP staff. ACTION NEEDED: Water system to do public notification for MCL violation. DWP staff to do a site visit as soon as practical. | ||
