Details:	SUMMARY: Sewage Spill into Siltcoos Lake DETAILS: Brian heard through the news that there was a sewage spill of some kind in Siltcoos Lake on Saturday, September 15. He was not notified by OERS or anyone from the DHS Drinking Water Program. He contact OERS who confirmed there was a spill, but no further action was taken. Brian called me to find out what I knew and what to do in follow-up. I had not been notified of the spill. Brian has maintained a free chlorine residual of 0.5 mg/L and shut down the well/intake. There have been no campers on-site, but a group will be there this coming weekend. I suggested Brian collect a special coliform sample to assure the system has not been impacted by micro-organisms from the sewage. He will also try to find out more about the spill location and contaminants of concern. ACTION NEEDED: Follow-up on notification process. Await results of special sampling.
