| Details: | SUMMARY: Review and recommendations report for future system operations DETAILS: Mike Donovan requested this review. I visited the system earlier and completed 90% of the review and recommendations report. There is still some outstanding information coming from DEQ regarding the discharge of iron and manganese concentrates from point of use removal systems into septic systems in order to complete the report. The management of the system has undergone some changes. I have been working with Bob Barcher who is very knowledgeable about water chemistry and Amigo Villa’s system. We are currently waiting for the results of some metals testing to submit to the supplier of a filtration system that I have speculated will be appropriate for the water quality system issues at the system. The loading of the filtration system is directly proportionate to the amount of backwash discharge water to the septic system. DEQ has requested metals loading and backwash volumes and frequencies in order to evaluate the impact to the septic system in a residential setting such as being proposed at the system. ACTION NEEDED: Complete the review and recommendations and transmittal to the system’s board. | ||
