Details: SUMMARY: Nitrate Alert Response DETAILS: Spoke with Keith regarding nitrate samples collected 9/5/07. The system is collecting nitrate samples monthly to more closely monitor the high nitrate levels. Public notices are being distributed quarterly. New wells are currently being drilled by Larry Burd to replace the shallow well that is high in nitrates. Anderson-Perry and Associates is overseeing the project. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to continue with project to replace existing shallow well source.
