| Details: | SUMMARY: Toluene detection from a special sample DETAILS: A slight amount of Toluene was detected in a July sample after repairs on Well #6. The sample was taken "before putting the well online." (So perhaps it should have been labeled a special sample, but was not.) No confirmation sample was taken in the 3rd quarter, but another sample is being taken in the 4th quarter soon. This upcoming sample will suffice as a confirmation sample. Chemicals in the new pipe that were installed in July are thought to have caused the detection. Therefore, no VOCs are expected in the 4th quarter sample. ACTION NEEDED: Take 4th quarter VOC. |
