| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform routine sample and 0 chlorine DETAILS: I received an alert for a positive total coliform routine sample and a 0 chlorine residual taken on 10/15/07. I spoke with Pamela Stolsig on 10/16/07 who said that the on-site operators decreased the chlorine due to complaints and my advising and that the positive coliform is likely due to the absence of chlorine. I reminded Pamela that the chlorine should be kept between 0.2 mg/L and 1.0 mg/L. She said the lab is going to take the repeat samples. We talked about the need for 5 follow-up routine samples next month. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of the repeat samples. | ||
