| Details: | SUMMARY: alert-arsenic DETAILS: Spoke with Dennis today about a recent arsenic detection at mosby creek trailhead, the sample taken 10/11/07 shows a result of Arsenic at 0.012mg/L. The current MCL for Arsenic is 0.10 mg/L, however, for a transient non-community water system like mosby creek trailhead, the MCL is still 0.050mg/L. Therefore this system is not required to do corrective action at this time. Dennis said BLM will discuss and consider installing treatment at this water system and will be in contact with us in the future. ACTION NEEDED: none at this time. | ||
