| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate Alert Response DETAILS: Spoke with Greg. The City has been on quarterly monitoring for nitrates. Based on the 7/13 sample result of 8.85 mg/L being the highest on record, the City will remain on quarterly monitoring to more closely track the nitrate level. I suggested collecting source samples from each well to see if there is any variation between the sources. I also suggested contacting the landowner whose property is immediately east of the wells to discuss what fertilizer or other products are being used. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to continue quarterly momnitoring. | ||
