| Details: | SUMMARY: TC Positive Alert Response - City Resumes Chlorination DETAILS: Spoke with Brian regarding the two samples collected 10/16 that tested TC positive. The City made the decision to resume chlorination last week after receiving the sample results. Five repeat samples were collected 10/23, and all had a measurable chlorine residual. The City is considering installing a second chlorine injector at the north end of town to ensure that portion of the distribution system maintains a residual, which is currently difficult. I told Brian that it would have to go through our plan review process. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to distribute public notice for the October MCL violation, collect five routine samples in November. | ||
