| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform repeat samples DETAILS: I spoke with Kate Anderson on 10/29/07 regarding 3 positive total coliform repeat samples taken on 10/25/07. Kate thinks the samples might be positive because taps have internal aerators that can be removed but water flows over the outside of the tap before it enters the sample bottle and its difficult to clean completely. The well was not sampled. I told Kate to issue public notice and to disinfect the well and distribution system. I faxed her a copy of the coliform public notice, fact sheet, and disinfection procedures. I told her she needed 5 routine samples the month of November. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of the follow-up samples. | ||
