Persistent leak detection/fixing ensued. Water was hauled. Interties were connected, stopped and re-connected. Reverse 9-11 calls were made.

Lots of attention was paid to the problem, but no communication with local or state governments severely hampered its resolution.

Petes three coliform samples taken were negative. ACTION NEEDED: · WS will implement a precautionary boil water alert
· WS will apply for state-of-emergency funding from County
· WS (& Pete) will contact HBH
· WS needs are:
i. Water Hauling
ii. Leak Detection
iii. Leak Repair
· A PIO (Public Information Officer) will be identified to reduce confusion.
· 5 homes at the upper elevations are currently impacted despite news reports claiming more were impacted.

Take 5 coliforms in October, 5 in November.
