| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform routine followup sample DETAILS: I received an alert for a positive total coliform routine sample taken on 11/2/07. I spoke with Leslie Benz on 11/5/07 who said the other 4 follow-up routine samples were negative and that she thinks the positive was at the kitchen tap, which is a swivel faucet. Given the history of positive coliform results, I told Leslie she could try disinfecting the well and distribution again or try troubleshooting the cause of the coliform. I told her she could hire someone if she wishes. Leslie said shell likely try shock chlorination again and will take follow-up samples. Leslie will continue to post public notice. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of the follow-up samples. | ||
