| Details: | SUMMARY: Field visit for regulatory assistance. DETAILS: I met with Brian Helliwell and Tim Sanders at the WTP in Lebanon to review turbidity records during the plant upset that occurred the previous weekend. Suggested they contact Albany and Newport to get more ideas on how to handle the clari-flocculator, which is still having performance problems. OMI also called in some of CH2MHills experts to help them get the clarification process working properly again. These experts were on site during my visit. We reviewed the monthly operating reporting requirements to assure it would accurately reflect data from this event. No turbidity or CT violations occurred during the event. Turbidity going into the system was back down below 0.3 NTU. ACTION NEEDED: Review Lebanons October MOR prior to OMI submitting it for data entry. Lebanon will assure their SCADA system records values above 1NTU (trends only show up to 1NTU). | ||
