| Details: | SUMMARY: Lead and Copper Optimization Research and Efforts at EWEB. DETAILS: Casey Lyon and myself met with Steve Blair and Doug Wise from EWEB and their consultant, Kylee Dewis with HDR Inc. to review the 2007 lead investigative findings and report completed by HDR Inc. The findings and recommendations are documented in the Technical Memorandum and the Lead and Copper Review (see file). As a result, EWEB will be conducting an optimization evaluation to determine whether or not they are currently optimized or if they should proceed with researching ways to become optimized, specifically researching options for reducing pH variability in the distribution system and what the cost/benefit is around those options. Once complete, EWEB will present their findings to DHS. ACTION NEEDED: Continue communication with EWEB concerning optimization efforts and await evaluation findings. | ||
