Details: SUMMARY: Deficiency noted on recent Sanitary Survey, Turbidity Profiles and Contact Tracer Study DETAILS: The City of Elkton was listed as requiring assistance submitting a CT Tracer Study to DWP on a recent Sanitary Survey. The Treatment Plant is a conventional package plant (Keystone) treating raw water pumped from the Umpqua River at a rate of 110 gpm. The Tracer Study was performed with residual chlorine being recorded with both a Hach 1720C on the plant effluent and a Hatch Colorimeter field instrument at the City Fire Station considered as the first user. The storage reservoir and incidental distribution was calculated at a T10 of 58 minutes assigning a 50 percent efficiency as a contact chamber to the storage reservoir. ACTION NEEDED: Be available for technical assistance if required. Complete the data reduction from the study and process a final report.
