| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate Alert Response DETAILS: Spoke with Topper regarding the nitrate results from samples collected 9/24. Samples collected before and after treatment were both above 8 mg/L, so it appears the arsenic treatment did not influence the nitrate levels. I asked Topper to collect two more quarterly nitrate samples so we would have four consecutive quarters of results. I also suggested investigating the potential source of the nitrates, which may be either from fertilizer use on a nearby field, or a failed septic system at a nearby house. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to collect two more quarterly samples, then evaluate results. | ||
