| Details: | SUMMARY: Technical Report Iron and Manganese Treatment Options DETAILS: System has been experienced extreme fluctuations in chlorine residuals levels over a long period of time. The residuals range from non-detect to 2.0 mgl. The system has liquid sodium hyprochlorite treatment without any method of precipitate removal such as filtration. Excessive buildup of Iron and Manganese occurs in the reservoir. Since Iron and Manganese are interfering agents with chlorine they are most likely cause of the wide range of chlorine residuals in the distribution system. I prepared a technical report that provided information treatment technologies available and advantages and disadvantages. ACTION NEEDED: None | ||
