| Details: | SUMMARY: Water Quality Issues DETAILS: HBH representing DWP received notice from Gary Burnett that the Round Lake Estates had recently had a pump failure. A new pump was installed and customers begin complaining of a white substance plugging faucets. I have been coordinating with the agencies involved regarding the system’s corrective actions. The maintenance of the hydrants and leak repairs have been accomplished by private contractors prior to the organization of a flushing scheme scheduled for the first of November. I reviewed system maps in preparation for systematic flushing of the system as the last action required by the September DWP notice. I traveled to the system on 10/31/07 in order to be available to assist and direct the systematic flushing of the distribution system as per Gary Burnett at DWP. ACTION NEEDED: Continue communication with the agencies involved with the system as well staff of the system. | ||
