| Details: | SUMMARY: Chlorine residual problems DETAILS: PWS has difficulty maintaining consistent chlorine residuals in distribution system. There have been many complaints of high chlorine taste and odor problems and many instances of no chlorine residual on coliform results. Referred by Amy P of DWP. I talked to Cathy on the phone on Oct 22 and discussed chlorine issues and set up an appointment for Oct 25th to visit system and test for total and free chlorine residuals, evaluate the situation and review on site residual records. On Oct 25 she was not there at the appointment time (1PM) and did not notify me ahead of time or how to get hold of her, leaving a note that she would return at 3 PM. I visited the Springfield office on Oct 25 to review the file and gather information. ACTION NEEDED: Reset time for another visit. | ||
