| Details: | SUMMARY: Four of six repeat samples tested positive for Total Coliform. DETAILS: 7/27/07 - I left a message for Lee at his office. He already received the test results from Neilson Laboratories. 8/2/07 - Lee is shock chlorinating the system. The source water is negative for Total Coliform. Lee is currently experimenting with ways to more adequately seal the storage tank lids as he feels they are a weakness in the system. I reminded Lee of the need to post public notice for an MCL violation within 30 days. He will collect special samples five days after the bleach is flushed from the system. 8/14/07 - A special sample collected on 8/9/07 at the service sink tested negative for Total Coliform. I spoke with Lee. He said that the source of the bacteria was never determined but reiterated that the storage tank lids are suspect. He is still trying to develop a better sealing method. ACTION NEEDED: Five routine samples need to be collected in the month of August. | ||
