| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform routine sample DETAILS: Darryl McCann, the new operator for the water system at Riverside Inn, called me on 12/19/07 to let me know the water system had a positive total coliform routine sample at the kitchen sink. Darryl is unfamiliar with the water system, as he is new, but he said the owner told him it could be a groundwater issue because the well is shallow. The owner is going to give Darryl a tour of the water system soon. I told Darryl to collect the required 4 repeat samples, to take 5 routines in January, and to give me a call with the results of the repeat samples. I did not get Darryls phone number. The number above is for the restaurant, which may or may not be his. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of the repeat samples. | ||
