| Details: | SUMMARY: Boil Warning Lifted DETAILS: The boil water warning was lifted today at 1:00 pm. This is based on 3 coliform samples taken 12/17 from the distribution system that showed no coliforms present, and that there is a good chlorine residual greater than 0.2 ppm in the distribution system. In addition, 2 coliform samples from the supply well have been negative, one was taken Friday 12/14, and the second was taken Monday 12/17. Continuous chlorination has been installed in case the coliform bacteria shows up again in the supply well. Chlorination may be discontinued if samples from the supply well are consistently coliform negative over the next few weeks. ACTION NEEDED: Water system to monitor chlorine residuals daily. Plan review needed for Wells 3 and 5, and for 80,000 gallon reservoir. | ||
