| Details: | SUMMARY: Evaluate the springs as a source for an elevated customer base above the spring box DETAILS: I met with Sean Negherbon at the river plant. We reviewed some topographical maps of the area to be evaluated. We drove to the area above the Springbrook Water Treatment Plant to the head of the water shed that supports the springs. The sites request for technical assistance is directed at determining the feasibility of diverting one or more of the spring sources to a storage tank that would serve an elevated customer base, similar in elevation as the springs. I toured the springs, photographing all aspects of the system including the proposed site for the storage tank. We returned to the river plant to discuss the scope of the project and determined a list of questions requiring investigation. The evaluation will ultimately determine the cost and feasibility to develop an additional ground water system vs. extending the existing treated water system from the Springbrook Plant. ACTION NEEDED: Provide photos and information gathered to office staff for evaluation. Report progress to the system. | ||
