| Details: | SUMMARY: Postitive total coliform routine sample DETAILS: I received a call from Kenneth (didnt catch last name) from Washburne state park, who said OPRD Heceta Head Lighthouse had a positive total coliform sample taken on 1/2/08. He said it may have been positive because it was pouring rain when the sample was taken or because the chlorine pump was set too low, so the residual was only 0.1 mg/L. This system should be keeping a residual of at least 0.4 mg/L. I told Kenneth to bump up the chlorine, take 4 repeat samples ASAP, 5 routines next month, and to call Casey Lyon with results of the repeat samples. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of the repeat samples. | ||
