Details: SUMMARY: No chlorine residual on routine bacti sample DETAILS: Sample taken 7/5/07 was recorded as no chlorine residual. Has had the chlorinator checked and the chlorinator is working properly. If they raise the chlorine residual the system gets multiple complaints from the users with a strong chlorine odor. Kelly is going to start taking source water special samples to demonstrate a need to chlorinate or not. Will keep our office informed on the results. I told her we should be able to tell if the chlorinator is needed or not in several months but may need to sample for a year to demonstrate a need not to chlorinate. ACTION NEEDED: Take special source water samples, continue to do routine monthly samples for bacti.
