Details: SUMMARY: Continued monitoring of high nitrate levels. System has been shut down for the winter. DETAILS: This source continues to have high reading for nitrate. It is currently turned off for the winter. The water is only used for boat rinsing and hand sink/hand wash. It is also used for the rinse at the "scat machines". If this source continues to test high the operator may request to deactivate the water system. This office would support this as proper posting is evident at the site. ACTION NEEDED: Test in spring to see if levels are still high. No reason can be given for high levels. Aquifer change?
