| Details: | I spoke with the operator of JLR's water system regarding the most recent alert on the quarterly arsenic result. While this individual sample is above the MCL, the RAA remains below the MCL. This is in large part due to the nondetect last year. The next quarter's RAA will not benefit from this non-detect. The operator indicated that the system will again flush their media and that the system is preparing to increase production and processing capacity. I sent information regarding Oregon Health Authority: Drinking Water Services System Plan Review. They will oversee the plan approval for the proposed increase in treatment capacity at JLR. The operator noted that the system continues to provide sources of bottled water for employees and that notices remain for employees to read regarding arsenic in the water at this system. |
