Details: SUMMARY: Nitrate present on 07/27/07 DETAILS: On 08/10/07 I spoke to Marti Whitmore regarding Nitrate sample collected on 07/27/07 (received on 08/09/07). I told Mari they will need to test for nitrates for four consecutive quarters. Marti is already testing quarterly due to past nitrate values. Marti also mentioned that they switched wells because their main well just tested for nitrates at 9.6 ppm. We suspect that the reason for these values is that the groundwater level has dropped significantly in the shallow alluvial aquifer. ACTION NEEDED: Awalt results of quarterly samples and follow-up.
