| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform repeat samples on 08/09/2007 DETAILS: On 08/10/2007 I spoke to Chris Billinger (water operator supervisor) in regards to the positive coliform repeat samples collected on 08/09/2007 (received on 08/10/2007). George Waun from DHS had already contacted Bob and discussed the need for public notification and possible sources of contamination. I provided templates for the public notices that he needs to post. He is also planning to do a shock chlorination as a corrective action and resample. He is also aware about the five routine samples that will need to be taken the next calendar month. He will call me once he receives the results. On 08/12/07 the distribution system was flushed and additional samples were taken today. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of repeat and repeats samples, and follow-up. | ||
