Details: Contacted operator of water system due to score of 15. Also due to public notice being due soon. Compliance monitoring for the month of March showed 72 hours where minimum chlorine residual was not met. Operator says that inadvertently 0.7 (or others) were reported as .07. So there may not have been a failure to meet 4-log, possibly reported readings with decimal point in the incorrect place. Advised operator to contact DWS to review. In case the violation stands - I emailed and explained the process of completing the Public Notice for failure to meet minimum disinfection level (0.4)ppm chlorine. Also advised operator that reports need to be received at DWS by the 10th of the month following the month of reporting values. Should be able to RTC violations with either the removal of the 4-log not met violation or the completion of the PN and next months compliance monitoring report received at DWS on time.
