| Details: | SUMMARY: TC Positive Alert Response DETAILS: Tracy called to let DWP know that three of the five routine samples collected 1/7/08 tested positive for total coliform. The samples were collected by a relatively new employee, and were taken at taps that had not been used previously, raising the possibility that the samples were accidentally contaminated. I explained the violation will require a public notice. Three repeat samples have been collected. Spoke with DRC operator Chris Hedden. He oversaw the collection of the repeat samples. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to distribute public notice, collect five routine samples in February. | ||
