| Details: | SUMMARY: MCL Nitrates Exceeded During Quarterly Monitoring DETAILS: An alert was received for a nitrate sample that was taken 9-17-2007. Results of sample were12.2 and MCL is 10. ACTION NEEDED: The average of the quarterly samples is 12 mg/l so firm will need an NSF approved system to remove nitrates form water. Firm inquired about using bottled water for coffee and a soda fountain that does not use water. DWP is in the process of considering this iption. Firm is looking into costs of nitrate removal systems and bottled water and waterless soda fountain. Tier 1 notice has been posted on firms door, Glacier water system, soda fountain, and coffee area. | ||
