| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert for Positive Total Coliforms DETAILS: Positive total coliform on 11-7-07. This firm has had several positive results within the past year. Previously the firm has shocked the well and the repeat samples have come back clean but the routine samples during the following month have come back positive, which is what has happened here again. ACTION NEEDED: It has come to a point that the system need to be looked at by a professional to determine what is causing the reoccurring positive sample results. Until the system is repaired a Cease and Desist order is issued for the use of well water. When the well has been repaired five routine samples need to be taken. If they are all absent you will proceed with first quarter monitoring next year. | ||
