| Details: | SUMMARY: Returning Call DETAILS: The operator contacted our office requesting information regarding water-sampling frequency. The operator had been operating under the assumption that they no longer needed to sample water quality after installing a new UV light system. The confusion may have originated from our office.The operator has missed two consecutive quarterly Coliform water sample tests and 1 annual Nitrate water sample test.We informed the operator that (according to available information) they were required to perform Coliform tests every quarter and Nitrate tests annually.We gave the operator the state drinking water information phone line so they could verify from the state which water sampling schedule they are on.At the end of the phone conversation, the operator stated they planned to take water samples and test for Coliform and a nitrate contamination immediately. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to monitor water sampling frequency via SDWIS. | ||
