| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine sample taken 01/14 total coliform positive. DETAILS: Mr. Walker contacted the Pendleton DWP office on 1/15 because a routine coliform sample taken on 1/14 was total coliform positive. A Repeat sample taken on 1/22 was coliform negative and I discussed repeat sample requirements and sample procedures with Mr. Walker on 1/24. He had disinfected the well with 1 gallon of bleach on 1/18. Since the system is classified as a state-regulated (15 residents) monitoring of water quality has not been done consistently. The well serving the property is a basalt well 223 feet deep constructed in 1985. Well construction approved by Springfield DWP office on 1/24/2008. ACTION NEEDED: Another Repeat sample was submitted to the lab on 1/24. DWP to change contact name on SDWIS. Two more repeat samples required. | ||
