| Details: | SUMMARY: Op Has Provided Boil Water Advisory, Will Investigate Cause of E.coli Contamination DETAILS: I discussed the five TC positive samples collected on 11/27/07. Two of the samples were E. coli positive -- the well tap and Space 6. The operator states she has provided the EPA Boil Water Advisory to every user. She states she hand delivered the advisories and also posted it in the laundry room. She agreed to fax me a copy.We discussed possible causes for the positive samples. Mary is unsure of the cause(s). She was not sure whether the "well tap" sample was raw or treated water. She states the free chlorine residual has been checked daily and has been 0.2-0.5 ppm.Mary will request Stutzman Services to make a site visit to investigate possible causes. I will contact Mary early next week for an update and discuss follow-up sampling. ACTION NEEDED: N/A | ||
